The magic of tidying

I've been through the next 10 boxes but only sorted 2 boxfuls to donate.

Tomorrow I'll take 3 boxes,  a bag of clothes, and some other stuff to the opshop. 

I've cleared a stack of paper from the kitchen and done some other tidying but it feels as though I'm not getting anywhere.

I wonder how much I can get done over the next week...

Wow @Dimity @you have been working hard. It can be great with less clutter. Striking a good balance seems key. Dont get rid of everything.

@PeppyPatti that photo looks like a tidy room!

I am enjoying my declutterred front garden atm.  Rearranging plants a little to fill in spaces… my old divide and replant. No need to shop lol.

We are racing off to Freo to visit my ex husband because he drove into 2 cars. Booked into dentist 8.30 am. Once I get amount it will cost for dentist, I'll write back 😁

@Shaz51 hey!! 

My week went... well er, it went! Hahaha I definitely got lost in an ADHD hurricane of random pottering and vague sorting... Did NOT finish by a very long mile but I made a start! And I did fully finish clearing out, consolidating, and sorting my pantry! Got some new spice racks and some baskets to help keep things neat, so it's feeling a lot more manageable, and also freed up some shelf space - which will then sorta have a ripple effect where I can keep shifting stuff into spaces as they free up.

I think the main thing is that the process has been initiated, so I can keep chipping away at it whenever I have the energy 😉

VHS 📼 Case Repurposed for samples.

I find comfort in living simply. I was using  a VHS case to hold my makeup brushes.

Moved my makeup, brushes and pencils to a Toiletries Fold Out Hanging Bag.

Put my little samples in the VHS 📼 case.

Well done on the pantry @Jynx . I'm just starting on my pantry and find I have oodles of teas. 

Clever idea @Glisten . I've simplified my life further and thrown out most of my make-up.

Today I got 3 boxes, 2 small bags and other stuff to the opshop and maxxed out my rubbish bin. I had help in the house - I couldn't see the cobwebs.

well done @Dimity  ive managed to cram a lounge and a kitchen cabinet in my small house over last couple months. now got to sort spare room (where I threw everything to make room) and look at re-arranging bedroom to get some floor space

I'm working on my spare room too. Threw out quite a bit today. Unfortunately it's filĺing up again with boxes from offsite.
