Wouldn't it be much more helpful to everybody if the the name of this condition was changed for the greater good of all? It infers such negativity, awful title, not at all helpful

Hey @JJ4 ,

Yeah, I often considered what would happen if they changed the name of BPD to something else, but then again, every 'name' soon develops connotations if considered from a medical model. In other words, I think whatever 'name' you give it, it will soon carry negativity. Hece this year's BPD Awareness Week campaign is titled - 'Flipping the Script'. To me, this means raising enough awareness so that when people hear 'BPD', they see it from a different angle.

Trust me @JJ4 , it can be a highly rewarding journey.
