Mild Cognitive Impairment
I have just been diagnosed with MCI (mild cognitive impairment) by a geriatrician. I am in my fifties so seeing a geriatrician is not something I thought I would be doing. Have to admit there is relief to find out what is going on. I thought I was going mad. Have had depression and anxiety for a long time.
‘Just wondering if anyone else has MCI as well as mental health issues.

Re: Mild Cognitive Impairment
It can be so difficult to come to terms with a new diagnosis @Ma60, particularly when it hits earlier than you ever would have expected. What a relief to have a language for what you've been experiencing though. I hope talking about things on the forums is helpful in making sense of it all 🐼
