Re: Word for the Day - Comfort or Play

Great pictures @Shaz51. Used to have a mulberry tree too. Forgot how delicious they are.

Re: Word for the Day - Comfort or Play

Oh @Shaz51  That dessert looks inviting. Just finished dinnner with a salad made from my garden. Sweetest tastiest tomatoes, crunchy lettuce, creamy avocado, aromatic basil and tasty baby spinach. I do love my fruit and veg and blessed to be able to grow my own. 🙏❤️

Re: Word for the Day - Comfort or Play

How lovely to grow your own food @Krishna 😀

Maybe I should try , I only have 2 avocado trees

Re: Word for the Day - Comfort or Play

yay - Mangoes - @oceangirl

I love mangoes

But I never eat one in front of someone else - it's a very messy affair I would rather enjoy in private

Great pics @Shaz51

I tried an avocado once - I didn't enjoy it and never tried again. Perhaps I just didn't like it or maybe it was over-ripe. I will never know

But - hehe - I managed to burn my crumpets posting here - wow - I have learned a shorter time away from the griller is a good idea

All the best Shaz

Hi again @Shaz51

So that's a monsterio delicioso.

That's big - and obviously tasty according to it's name

But how do people eat it?

I gotta know

Re: Word for the Day - Comfort or Play

I don't think I've even seen a dragon fruit @Shaz51

But then - it's been a while since I have been to a supermarket -

Okay - what do they taste like? Not dragons I hope

Re: Word for the Day - Comfort or Play

monsterio delicioso @Owlunar

When it is ripe the sections come out very easy and just eat the flesh bit inside

Avocado are tricky , but if they are ripen on the tree , they are very nice and creamy

Depends if they are picked too early and then ripen
