had 2 x 24mtr high pine trees on fence line in my backyard @Glisten @Jacques @Bill16 , trunk on one was 4metres around 2 metres off the ground. other one was half that and bit shorter. paid a dude $4k cash to get them down to ground. wood was crap so he took it all, first tree took couple days , big one , they fought it for near a week, had little truck and ute w big trailer doing shuttle runs couple days. He had to cut off rounds @ like 500mm cos so heavy, could hear them Thump when hit ground lol. I was lucky. When I get the $ or want to build or whatever , will get someone to rip the roots, are on surface, they would be in my septic like 20metres away..
