I just find it weird going on a cruise alone.

I'd like to go to Japan. 

I like New Zealand. I've never been to Fiji or Indonesia before.

I purchased two types of Loop Earplugs. They arrived today 👏🏼

Now I can sleep while the RAAF jets are flying nighttime exercises and I won’t hear anything.

I also got Loops for the sauna so I don’t have to hear men talk politics or finance. Very unattractive social behaviour.

As much as I love the sound of the RAAF jets I'm not sure I'd want them disturbing what little sleep I get 😂.

Oh that really is something I'd want to not hear aswell, they could at least have interesting conversations. Politics and finance are just icky subjects.

@tyme I'm not so worried about the sea sickness, but I ah...can't swim. Aha. So I, personally, would rather a virtual cruise. 

Fiji was humid, but it was beautiful. I stayed on one of the islands and it was stunning. The people were beautiful and were always singing. It was lovely to really step away from the rat race for a week. 

I would like to go to New Zealand, and I would like to go to Scotland, Canada and Alaska. 

It'll probably be a while before I go anywhere though. I need to settle for a bit.

@Dreamy till this day i can't stop thinking about the fact that i'll have to potentially meet somebody and then possibly 'marry' them in the future the way my mum wants me to 😑 its part of why i feel so ashamed to be biologically assigned to an ethnicity where having someone with you and then getting married with them is such a big deal in our culture. if only i was assigned to a certain ethnicity where a lot of the parents these days dont care if their kid doesnt wanna be in a relationship and get married or not. like this is the 21st century and things have already changed since then.

Really? That's good to know. But then again, I've been houseboating many times and never had an issue. It's interesting how diffferent we all are.

Also, when I go overseas at the end of the year, I'm also going houseboating for a week or so.

@Blackcloud i can't imagine how hard it is for you to have to feel that way. I know it's the culture and very much the normal thing but things have really changed over the years and most have moved away from the way things used to be. I know it's very much something that worries you and not something you want to do. Just remember that whatever decision you make we will always be here for you ❤️
