Then G-d said "let there be Mbaqanga"...
I love all sorts of music, heavy metal, classical, jazz, progressive rock, the list goes on. But in the '80s an album from Paul Simon called Graceland dropped which featured several South African musicians. This sent me down a deep dive of Zulu culture and music, specifically the genre known as Mbaqanga. I really connect with this music on a deeply personal and spiritual level. I find it to be a natural antidepressant which can lift my mood no matter how I am feeling. It has done wonders for my mental health. I am always searching for ways to support the artists.

KOOL.
@Former-Member
I was into Kwela a few years ago and now hearing some excellent Ugandan original through composed music.
Also promised some dude I would learn "Nothing Else Matters" and "Unforgiven".
Glad you are around ...
