I've had to withdraw, there's pain and grief everywhere, reactive people, hurting their closest, I cant stop it, can't help, I truly am but dust, my only hope is to hide in His shadow and wait 🙏

Amen 🙏 Amen @Former-Member, i like that one. And timely. A lot of people are sad over cancelled Christmas plans.
I've found the very hard to want to celebrate, hard because my Girl (13) went to heaven 2011 she should be with us, and mum died 3yrs ago, my dad died 2wks ago and my uncle last Monday. I can't believe it. Dad has hit me hard, and my son, but...
A couple of days ago I prayed: "Lord help me do something nice for my son's Christmas visit home, I'm so sad and feel I'm betraying my dad but mostly sad and fatgued and crying and angry... ". Then, the still small voice of the Holy Spirit reminded me: "you are a woman of faith! Joy is not dependent on lost loved ones, money, illness, broken families, loneliness etc... but choose that which cannot be taken away from you to rise up for... and the coming of the Messiah is the greatest of joys on earth... do it for Him"

Wow, that's right I thought,
I am "A WOMAN OF FAITH"
in a living God
who is faithful
and worth living for
worth getting out of bed for,
worth smiling for my son 4
worth a decorated tree and
worth a table feast.
Even if my son doesn't make it -
my Lord sits at the table with me, I want Him to
I am not alone.
I CAN do it for Him ✨🎆✨
