@Dreamy I hope you’ve been snuggled and watching movies. What movie did you watch? Silly email is putting SANE alerts in my spam folder and I didn’t know you had responded. Not sure why it’s doing it as it never used to.
I am a mess. No joy in anything so I sit here scrolling. It was my birthday yesterday which sucked.
Today I had to get medicines and something to eat that is easy. It was freezing and I just didn’t want to have to go and be around people. I did it though which is good.
Not very exciting news. Just glad I’m home and it’s warm inside.

@Cuddlebear i put 2 movies on but I didn't actually watch them but I put on meet the parents and Mrs Doubtfire. Yeah my sane emails are going to my junk email aswell so I'm not getting notified either. It's never done it before so I'm not sure why.
Awww happy birthday for yesterday ❤️. I'm sorry it wasn't a good day but I'm really glad to have you hear 😊.
Well done for going out and getting what you needed despite not wanting to. It feels like a day to stay inside and keep warm.
My day just isn't great, it's been so hard and I just have no motivation for anything. I've been taking things minute by minute today.

@Dreamy I love those movies. They are ones I’ve watched multiple times. Sometimes having movies like that on in the background can be a bit comforting … It’s hard to know what to do when feeling like this isn’t it? Things that worked in the past don’t always work and a lot of the self care advice hasn’t helped me at all. Though I’m glad it does help other people.
Thank you for the birthday wishes. 🙂 I’m glad I did go and do the little shop needed. I was in and out like an Olympic sprinter lol!
Have you been able to do any colouring in? I have a Mandela colouring in book at home.
Getting through minute by minute is good because we want you here. I understand it’s a lot of work and I recognise that it’s brutal.
We seem to be experiencing similar things. I wish I had advice that would just make everything well again. I do think that this will lift and things will improve bringing relief. I just don’t know how or when.
I’ve been trying to understand why the brain gets stuck like this and why these symptoms just keep going and going. A lot of stuff online doesn’t really provide any answers or things that can be done to find joy in stuff, motivation etc.
I started watching Dancing with the Stars. I like Shaun Micallef and he’s on it. It’s a light and artsy show and it’s been providing some entertainment the last couple weeks on a Sunday night. Not sure if you’ve watched it too?

@Cuddlebear I'll apologise in advance for the brief replies cos my brain is just struggling to process anything.
I just like to have things on in the background even if I'm not watching it. It's so hard, everything I've tried today just hasn't helped and it's so frustrating.
That's my shopping trips all the time, in and out as quick as possible lol.
I did a tiny bit of colouring last night but that was the first time in a couple of weeks. Mandalas I love to colour in, they can be so pretty.
Minute by minute is all I can do at the moment. I just read on the other thread that you said about being stuck in fight/flight mode, I feel that and it's so hard. It exhausts the entire body and mind.
I watched dancing with the stars years ago but it just didn't interest me. I don't actually watch normal TV anymore. Glad you enjoy watching it though, its good to have something that brings entertainment.

@Dreamy It’s ok your replies are perfect and no pressure whatsoever in making them long. 🙂
Yes it’s good to have something to watch even in the background. I don’t watch much tv to be honest.
Yeah I don’t like to be at the shops for long these days. I just grab what I need and go home as quickly as I can. I remember you saying you have social anxiety so I totally understand being as quick as possible and not hanging around talking to anyone.
I just read you’ve been doing a puzzle. That’s really cool. I’m glad you’ve had something to do today.
How are you this afternoon? Is there some sun out after yesterday’s cold overcast weather?

Hi @Cuddlebear. Today I really don't have it in me to reply much as I've woken up really sick.
Yes i finished a puzzle, I've got another one to start but I'm not sure I'll do that today.
So as for how I'm doing well I'm struggling, mental health+sickness isn't a great combination. There's a bit of sunshine here today. How are you going sweet?
