Re: rough time
All the best with your appointment with this GP who has some expertize with the problem you are having after your operation @outlander
I am glad you are chasing this up and their is nothing strange about seeking a second opinion about anything to do with your health
This is good to read - thanks for tagging me - you need to have this investigated
Thinking of you today

Re: rough time
ive seen the GP, and she at least checked and said that she will also order ultrasounds to check positioning. she marked it as urgent and I get the ultrasound done in about an hour, then I have to ring the gp back and ask what time I could come back in this arvo to get the results. its all is ok then its most likely just some irritation and body adjustments happening and will settle down but she wants to make sure. apparently the worst part that can happen can actually painless so to not have much pain beforehand except a day or 2 after she does want to check to be sure.

Re: rough time
Hi @outlander ... how are you doing? Any results back yet?
Its really hot and blustery weather here, and several fires near us have sparked up again. Little wonder in this weather. Water bombing aircraft are back again. Is the weather similar where you are today? I was also wondering whether the big meeting you had with someone re your Pop, has produced any likely benefits. I recall reading that you said it would require you to do a lot of stuff. But I havent heard much since. Likely because you have been dealing with so much since then, including all the pain you've been experiencing. It would be so good for you to be able to receive some much needed support in your caring duties though. So it may well be worth the major effort required. When you are feeling up to it of course. 🌼
Anyway, just sitting with you ... thought you may be worrying about results etc.
Sherry 💕

Re: rough time
I am worrying abit, the unknown mind game creeping in again.
ive had the ultrasound but they don't think they'll have time to get through to it till tomorrow. that wouldn't be a problem however the dr isn't there till sunday and itll also cost me $80 to see her on a weekend. I might ring up the clinic at about 5 and just see if they are there and if they could squeeze me in today. they are open till 6 today but I only had ultrasound about 45 min ago.
the weather is cool here but really smokey. it was hot yesterday and will be again the next few days. Tuesday is 35 with catastrophic fire conditions again- yuck.
uh the meeting was ok, it was long but honestly wasn't that helpful. I wasn't allowed to take notes or pictures or anything to remember anything. but basically ring my aged care and rather then get a package go through RAS instead which is just as much work as im the one who has to do a lot of the back and forward ringing. RAS does home and social care stuff but I can get it more often but at reduced fees so rather then say hour a week through a basic acat package I could get 3 or 4 hours of somesort of care but for a fee say 20 an hour rather then 60/70. to access this though I have to go through my aged care and there steps, and then eventually when I can get access to it. everytime I need help I have to ring the service provider ie support worker, arrange the time etc then ring my aged care then arrange the reduced fees with them. said I have to do this basically every time pop goes to a social meeting or whatever. seems like a one big pain for an hours support.
rang my aged care yesterday and because pop cant speak on the phone because he doesn't understand simple instructions or will remember them by the time hes off the phone we cant put me down as a representative for him so I have to fill out paperwork send to them and then wait for them to call me.

Re: rough time
How did you go @outlander ... were you able to get back to see GP for ultrasound results? If not today, will you see her on Sunday?
Oh I see what you mean about the support for you as a carer for your pop. They certainly do not make it easy, do they?
Are you okay this evening?
Sherry 😘
