What is going on

I am doing the right things going to gym getting myself happy and fit but the more i feel good the more i feel down

Hi @Jamc,

I replied to your other thread but just wanted to say - good on you for going to the gym. I really struggle with getting out there and doing exercise, even though I know my body and my mental health need it! 

It can be really discouraging when you do the right things but you still don't feel better. Are there any little tricks you do to try to stop feeling down? I sometimes write down three things I'm grateful for. That forces my mind to focus on some positive things, and it can help. Just stepping away from negative thoughts for a little while can be a bit of a break.
