Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @Former-Member , @Appleblossom , @Former-Member , @greenpea , @Mrsjones ,  , @outlander

@mum is looking brighter tonight

This morning the shock had finally hit her

The pysio nurse rang me up with what she thinks is happening

Mum used her walker to go to the bathroom

Today we saw MIL , she is doing a lot better now with the pressure reduce in her eyes

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Lovely you are back on line @Shaz51

How is Mum doing?

Have you made up your mind re: applying for DSP? Will latest news re: kidneys have any influence on this?

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

hello @Former-Member ,

mum is doing ok

she is sure i can do everything for her , which i can

she is now changing her mind about things , she wants this and then changes her mind when i have done it

information day for thr kidney has been cancelled later notice

lot more appts coming up for me

we are going to cut back even futher with the workload at the moment -- mr shaz is still very very anti centrelink

@Former-Member, how is your mum going xx

and how is mr @Former-Member  today

family would love me to stop work , seeing the doctor again on thursday

still taking mum up for redressing

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

@Shaz51

My mum sounding more frail over the phone and getting more forgetful.

Now our visitors have left, Mr D tells me he might be happy to see the GP regarding his pain. He is still very upset about the dog.

Having to be the responsible one sucks Shazzle Dazzle, Mr Shaz would no doubt be quite relieved if you got on DSP and he/you are still able to do a little work to supplement this

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

@Former-Member

hugs Heart

yes my mum is very frail and is forgetting things , don`t want to leave the house now only for the arm redressed but she hopes that is finished soon

Having to be the responsible one sucks Shazzle Dazzle ------ sooo very true and tiring as most days now mr shaz does not want to work anymore

hard to decide what to do sometimes with mum and mr shaz and myself

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

@Former-Member, @outlander@Appleblossom , @Former-Member , @greenpea

did you know that there will be no more new claims for centrelink`s sickness benefits Smiley Sad

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

No @Shaz51  I didnt know that.  But not really surprising as I know nothing about sickness benefit payments.

If you mean in relation to claiming in time to get the $750 stimulus payments which welfare recipients get, then I think the cut off date was 12th March?  Not sure exactly what your comment was in relation to.

How are you this evening @Shaz51 , and your Mum and Mr Shaz?

Sherry
