Hope endures...

I wasn't sure where to post this article but it so resonates with @Rick 's sign-off that I thoiught I would just start a new thread with that title Woman Happy

I guess I could also have put it under my question about recovery too. But here it is!

- Any thoughts to share?

Kind regards,

Kristin

Re: Hope endures...

Hi @kristin

Thanks for this thread, this is great.

I was reading in a book earlier today and saw this litle thing, and I thought of all you guys:

"The nearer I get to my personal recovery, the more I see my unfitness. Any sense of failure and loss of hope is a sure sign I am growing in my new life. In "sloth" (physical, mental and physical) there is no sense of failure or discomfort. It is only in my perserveance that I am reminded of my weaknesses, but awareness of these weaknesses soon become my strengths. When I am aware of these strengths, then I am aware of hope that is all around me"

Hobbit.
