I have noticed that some people have very cool avatars. Can I put one next to my name and if so how do I do it?

Re: Avatar

Hi Annabelle

The way I changed mine is;

  • Click your username (in blue) to  get to your profile
  • On the right hand side there is a “My images” box. Click “View all images”  & then the “add image” tab
  • Upload pic
  • Click “settings” top right next to your username
  • Go to ‘profile picture’ tab
  • Choose “from uploaded images’
  • All of the pictures you uploaded should appear – pick the appropriate picture & you’re on your way

This seems like a lot of steps - if anyone has found an alternate way, please feel free to post.

Thanks

Re: Avatar

Hi everyone,

I have since found a significantly easier way to change your profile pic & upload your own picture.

- Click on your username in blue on the top right

- Click on your current profile pic

This should take you through to a page which gives you the option to change your picture and upload new new picture.

Hopefully this is more straight forward 🙂

Nik

The second way is a lot easier!

Re: Avatar

Hi Annablle,

The way i did it was I simply googled "pictures of hobbits" and just saved a pic to my desktop.

All you need to do is simply click on your image that you have now, then click on 'my settings'. One of the tabs there is 'profile pics'.

Then when the forum asks you to download a pic, choose 'from my computer' and just double click on the one you saved to your desktop...voila!!

PS - people call me a hobbit
